Gerry is an outstanding photographer with an extraordinary eye for composition. He also possesses the rare ability to put even the shyest of subjects at ease in order to capture moments that are at once natural and highly flattering. Having witnessed over several years his consistent ability to extract effortless beauty from his subjects – whether he’s shooting a fashion model or the icicles on a wintry tree – nothing impressed me more than the stunning photos he took at my wedding. He captured heartwarming and intimate moments from the ceremony and reception without us ever being aware of his presence. It’s also important to note that Gerry’s positive attitude, responsiveness and consummate professionalism make for a unique combination in this field.

Gerry Hanan was our photographer for our wedding and my bridal portraits this past summer, 2008, in Austin, TX. Gerry is an exceptionally talented photographer. He was able to capture so many wonderful moments from our wedding day and presented the perfect blend of journalistic, traditional, and creative styles of photography. I have received many kind compliments on our photos with people specifically commenting on his ability to capture the momment. Looking at the photos takes me back to a beautiful and happy day which is what photography is all about in my opinion. Gerry has a great personality which makes his being a part of your big day an added bonus. He had us all laughing multiple times so saying cheese was no problem
